Why is an incomplete PDF created when "Generate PDF on release of document" is activated?

You have the option to decide that attachments to documents should be automatically converted to PDFs when they are released.

However, for documents with complex content, this feature may create incomplete files that do not fully represent the content in the document.

The following elements may cause problems:
- Word Art elements
- embedded math. formulas
- Graphic elements from PowerPoint, Visio, etc.

We therefore recommend that you always insert graphic elements into the document as graphics.

Another possibility is to add only links to the needed pdfs or to add directly the generated pdf as attachment.
