Why can't Responsibles be modified by authors?

Responsibles (or Process Owners) of processes or objects can neither be adjusted nor deleted by authors in detail content if they are already set.

The following rules are configured in Symbio:

- The Responsible is inherited by a hierarchically superior process

- The author cannot change a responsible already set

- The author can only set a responsible if the field is empty

According to this, changes of designated responsibles can only be made by architects or administrators.

Administrators can also make settings in the Extended Configuration to disable inheritance/transfer of the Responsible from the level above or to authorise the author to change the Responsible. Please refer to the Admin online documentation
