Why can't MS Word files with macros be added as attachments?

Currently, for security reasons, uploads of MS Office files with macros are not permitted in Symbio. Accordingly, no MS Word files in *.docm format can be added to documents as attachments.

As a workaround, you may save the file e.g. in intranet or on MS SharePoint and attach the link.

Alternatively, the file can be converted to PDF or compressed as a ZIP and then uploaded.
