What is the best procedure for setting processes to "Expired"?

Recommendation:

• Setting the state "Expired" should be executed in the architecture hierarchically from bottom to top.  

Reason:

• When changing the state to "Expired", the whole processes including child elements will only be visible in "expired (architecture)" navigation; in this case, child elements do not expire automatically.
• In the "expired (architecture)" navigation there is no option to "Change state" but only "Create version".
